The Voice results are in, and a winner for season 17 of the hit show has officially been crowned!

Jake Hoot of Kelly Clarkson’s team has reigned victorious. All four judges had the opportunity to win this season, however, the Cookeville, Tennessee native beat out Team John Legend’s Katie Kadan, Team Blake Shelton’s, Ricky Duran and Team Gwen Stefani’s Rose Short for the top prize.

“This has been a hell of a journey and to be standing where both of you guys are standing right now is unbelievable,” Shelton told Hoot and Duran before host Carson Daly announced the champion. “You guys both have earned this spot. Congratulations!”

“This is the most talented group of singers,” Kelly Clarkson added. “Everybody is so great at this point.”

The night was filled with plenty of country representation with stars like Lady Antebellum and Luke Combs delivering special performances leading up to Hoot’s crowning moment. Hoot also took the stage to perform a rousing rendition of “Over Drinking” with Little Big Town.

Congratulations, Jake Hoot!
