Rising singer/songwriter Jameson Rodgers teamed up with country superstar Luke Combs on the feel-good “Cold Beer Calling My Name.”

Poised to be the song of summer 2020, “Cold Beer Calling My Name” finds Rodgers and Combs celebrating life’s little moments by cracking open a cold one. From clocking out on a Friday to being front row at a “hillbilly rock show,” the carefree tune is everything we need right now.

“There’s a cold beer calling my name/ Feel a good time coming, got a new song humming/ And the sunset’s doing its thing/ Feeling lucky as a seven, yeah sometimes Heaven/Is a pocket full of payday green/ And my baby putting sugar on me/ Yeah, it’s sure been a pretty damn good day/ And there’s a cold beer calling my name,” Rodgers and Combs sing throughout the chorus.

“It’s a fun, easy song, and I thought it’d be cool to have someone on it and at the time I was out with Luke Combs,” Rodgers, who co-wrote the track alongside Hunter Phelps, Brett Tyler, and Alysa Vanderheym, explains. “I asked Luke if he¹d like to sing on it. I know he’s a cold beer drinker like myself and luckily it worked out and I’m excited for everybody to hear it.”

Rodgers, who hit the country music scene in 2019 with the release of his debut single, “Some Girls” continues to turn heads in Music City, penning hits for artists such as Florida Georiga Line (“Talk You Out Of It”), Chris Lane (“I Don’t Know About You”) and the title track of Luke Bryan’s forthcoming Born Here Live Here Die Here Album.

After spending time on the road with Combs last fall, Rodgers embarked on his headlining Grew Up in the Country Tour earlier this year.
