Jason Aldean and his wife of 11 years, Brittany, recently sat down for a candid Instagram Stories Q&A, answering fan questions about everything from skin routines to life at home, marriage and more.

Brittany revealed that she would be picking the questions. To start things off, she pulled up a question from a fan, asking if they signed a prenup when tying the knot.

The country music star confidently answered “yes” before explaining that it was his other half’s idea to sign one.

“Actually, it was her idea, which I would have done anyway. It was her idea. She brought it up first,” he stated.

Brittany added, “Yeah, you have to protect yourself. That’s not why I’m with you.”

The next question was regarding how they are able to keep things “spicy” in their relationship despite trying to balance busy schedules and raising young kids. They both took a moment to think before Brittany shared a few of the simple ways they are able to maintain that intimacy in their life.

“You just have a couple glasses of vino… You know what we could do better is date night,” she shared.

Aldean said, “I feel like we always try to have our time together.”

While they both admit to loving a date night now and again, the “How Far Does A Goodbye Go” singer also reveals that they are true “Homebodies.”

“We like to hang out at home and do all that.”

Brittany reiterates his statement explaining, “It’s like, let’s go to this restaurant. Or we could not and get in our pajamas and watch the History Channel and have drinks…It’s like my dream.”

The lovebirds then switched gears a bit, touching on a more serious topic: disagreements and how they are able to work through them.

“Sometimes it takes a couple days. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes. It kind of depends,” says Aldean.

His other half admitted to the fact that when she gets super upset or mad, she tends to shut down and wants to just be left alone to cool off before jumping into a conversation.

He joked, “You just got to let her cook for a while and then when she calms her ass down, then you can actually talk to her and you start getting somewhere, but she’s pain in the ass.”

Aldean goes on to say that when they do get into an argument it’s usually over “stupid sh**,” which he admits “drives me crazy.”

“It’s always something really small,” he says. “It may turn into a thing, but it’s never anything really serious.”

Fans even got to see a small argument brewing when they decided to answer the question, “What’s your biggest pet peeve?”

“You getting mad at dumb sh**,” Aldean responded immediately. “If you didn’t do that, we’d never argue.”

As for Brittany, her biggest pet peeve with Aldean is the fact that she will spend a lot of time cleaning while he sits on the couch playing video games and not helping out.

The final questions in the Q&A session involved Brittany sharing that they still have their rescued pig, Betty, in Nashville who is currently being looked after by a caretaker, along with all the other animals. She also shared her updated skin regimen, stating she still gets Botox but has stepped away from fillers after going through a phase where she admittingly “went a little wild.”

“I realized I just needed to lose a few pounds. So here we are. And lasers, absolutely I do one a month at least. Or like a microneedling or something, but very big on skin and Botox, yes fillers, no, not anymore.”

The couple wrapped the Q&A by keeping things lighthearted, once again showing off their dynamic as a couple as they continue navigating marriage, parenting and life together.
