Jason Aldean and the guys of Florida Georgia Line have collaborated on stage and in the studio for several years and now, they’re taking their working relationship to the next level with the launch of Wolf Moon Bourbon.
The newly announced bourbon is 80-proof, distilled from Midwestern grains and aged for four years in charred American oak barrels. Boasting flavors of caramel, sweet corn, honey and candied fruit and balanced by hints of oak and spice, the unique flavor profile was selected by Aldean and FGL.
“There’s nothing like sharing a glass of bourbon with my crew after a show—you could say its been part of our ritual for years,” said Aldean shared in a statement. “Tyler [Hubbard] and Brian [Kelley] have been a part of that ritual and we wanted to create something to remind us of our favorite memories. Wolf Moon’s name is a nod to the pack—the friends that become family. I’m looking forward to raising a glass with all my fans on the road this year.”
No strangers to the world of whiskey FGL‘s Hubbard and Kelley and created Old Camp Whiskey in 2016. When it came time to launch their next venture, they immediately knew they wanted to bring Aldean in on it.
“Making good whiskey is a passion of ours, and we really wanted to create something new and fresh with Jason,” the duo shared in a statement. “We’ve had this idea for years and spent a lot of time making sure we got it just right. We’re all so proud of this and can’t wait for all of the memories to be made over Wolf Moon.”
Currently, Wolf Moon is only available in select markets and on ReserveBar.com. The bourbon will soon be available nationally at a suggested retail price of $24.99 for a 750 ml bottle.
