ABC’s American Idol returned Monday evening (April 5) with an exciting second round of celebrity duets, featuring a number of superstar artists including Josh Groban, Tori Kelly, Jewel, Incubus’ Brandon Boyd and more.

Country hitmaker Jason Aldean also guest starred on the show, appearing alongside Top 24 contestant Hannah Everhart, who performed Chris Stapleton’s “I Was Wrong” earlier in the show.

Everhart held her own alongside Aldean, proving she has the stage presence to match her voice.

“The solo moment…there were a couple things that didn’t like bullseye, but I appreciate that you took the risk,” judge Katy Perry told her.

Luke Bryan commented, “Hannah, this is fun watching you grow. That’s the main thing because your personality is so infectious and once your talent catches up with this little star that you are, it’s gonna be so fun to watch.”

Lionel Richie agreed with Bryan and told Everhart, “Believe in yourself. You’ve got the goods.”
