“Can’t believe we were in this moment 7 years ago🤍 HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my best friend,” Brittany shared on Instagram alongside photos from their wedding.

“Thank you for being the best daddy and husband a girl could ask for. I love you so so much❤️ #blessed,” she added.

The beloved country couple met in September 2012 and got engaged two years later while visiting the San Diego Zoo. “My heart has never been more full of happiness and love,” Kerr posted on Instagram after the proposal.

When it was time to make things official, the couple opted for a destination wedding.

Surrounded by close family and friends, including country singer Tyler Farr and Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson, the couple wed on March 21, 2015 at the Mahekal Beach Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
