Jason Aldean is celebrating a new career milestone this week as his latest single, “Got What I Got,” reached the top spot on both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck Singles and Billboard Country Airplay charts.
Co-written by Thomas Archer, Alex Palmer and Michael Tyler, “Got What I Got” is the latest single from the superstar’s 2019 album, 9.
“Country radio has always given us the chance to bend the rules a little, and that has always meant a lot to me,” Aldean shared in a statement. “It’s especially cool for them to have my back right now while we can’t be out on the road getting fans music that way. We are missing it bad and can’t wait to get back on stage.”
Jason’s wife, Brittany, marked the occasion with an Instagram post honoring her husband and his team.
“CONGRATULATIONS to my hubby and the most KICK ASS BAND on the planet!!! ANOTHER #1,” she wrote. “Y’all work so hard, and constantly put out hit after hit. It’s truly unbelievable the talent god has blessed each of y’all with!! Glad I get to witness it all from the sidelines🙌🏼 Cheers to many, many more💚”
Jason Aldean recently returned to the studio to begin work on his upcoming tenth studio album. The superstar shared the exciting news on Instagram with an in-studio selfie.
