Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO are looking to expand their family in the near future. During an appearance on the Bussin With Boys podcast, the genre-bending star shared this news, explaining that the idea of having another child has motivated him to focus on his health.

“My wife and I are talking about having a baby, and it really made me realize that at almost 40, I was like, it means I got to live to at least 60. I got to see this kid in college,” he said.

The Tennessee native later confessed that he never expected to live beyond his mid-fifties, but now he has a reason to stay alive and healthy for many years to come.

“My plan was never to be 60, it was to be like 55. But now I’m like, well, I’d like to see my sixties. You know what I mean? And that really lit it up,” he explained.

Bunnie XO shared a clip of the podcast on social media alongside an emotional message to her followers revealing that they are using In vitro fertilization (IVF) in an attempt to get pregnant.

“We had planned on doing this privately but decided our IVF journey needed to be shared because we’ve always been so open. And w/ all odds stacked against us, it’s already been hard and we have only just begun,” she wrote.

The Dumb Blonde Podcast host explained that they are exploring all avenues to “add to our family” and have been actively consulting with IVF doctors.

As fans can imagine, the couple is experiencing a wide range of emotions as they navigate this process. They hope to welcome their third child next year.

“J & I are so excited and scared all at the same time. We genuinely never thought we’d want to add to our family but something changed this year and we both just want a piece of us together to add to our already perfect family with Bailee and Noah,” she shared in the caption.

Bailee Ann, 16, and Noah, 7, are Jelly Roll’s children from previous relationships. While Bunnie XO is not their biological mom, she co-parents them alongside Jelly Roll and considers them her own.

She closed her post by asking fans to send “love” their way as they navigate this IVF journey.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO will have plenty of room for their growing fans as they recently purchased a 500-acre property in the Nashville area. Bunnie XO dubbed it their “forever farm.” They hope to build two studios, a “three to four-acre” pond, and more.

The couple wed in 2016 and have been inseparable ever since. They often let fans into their lives via social media, showcasing an unfiltered look at life at home and on the road.
