Nettles Will Return To Host Farmer Wants A Wife

This Thursday (Feb. 1), the Grammy-winning, Emmy-winning entertainer will return to her role as host of season Two of Farmer Wants a Wife, the most successful dating show in the world. The reality series has aired in 32 countries and has resulted in 201 marriages and 514 children and counting.

YouTube video

The upcoming season will follow four farmers, who each stem from diverse backgrounds in cattle ranching, citrus, potato and barley farming, horse training and more. Through their searches for a forever partner, Ty Ferrell, Mitchell Kolinsky, Brandon Rogers and Nathan Smothers will host a group of single women who have chosen to step away from their convenient lives in the city and experience a taste of the charms and challenges of country living. The group of hopeful singles will immerse themselves in the reality of farm life as they learn how to tend to the land, harvest crops and feed cattle, and see all the behind-the-scenes aspects of the business operations.

Together, they will get their hands dirty out in pasture and experience the less than glamorous tasks that these farmers go through each day to keep their businesses running smoothly. Viewers will watch as the farmers slowly widdle their group down to hopefully find their perfect match in the end who is willing to put their old life behind them and enter a new venture in the country. This journey will take “patience, spirit and adaptability” as the women decide if they have what it takes to be a farmer’s wife.

Season 2 of Farmer Wants A Wife premieres Thursday, Feb. 1 at 9/8pm CT on FOX.
