Country hitmaker Jon Pardi announced the track list for his highly anticipated new recordMr. Saturday Night. The Multi-Platinum artist‘s fourth studio album will be released on September 2nd. Fans can pre-order the album now.

The title track, “Mr. Saturday Night,” was penned by Benjy Davis, Reid Isbell and Joe Ragosta. The clever play on words pairs well with the true-country elements of the song. Acting as a heartbreak ballad, the story of a relationship gone wrong unfolds and reveals how one handles the aftermath.

“I feel like everybody wants to be Mr. Saturday Night at one point on the weekend and have a good time,” shares Pardi. “But then you hear the song and – the way it’s so well written – it’s a sad song, but you don’t go there right away, because it’s also a fun song. That’s the thing about ‘Mr. Saturday Night,’ it’s more than meets the eye. It’s all fun until you get to the chorus.”

The forthcoming record will follow Pardi’s ACM and CMA Album of The Year-nominated Heartache Medication. With some of Nashville’s most popular songwriters penning tracks on the record, Pardi joined forces again with Bart Butler and Ryan Gore to produce Mr. Saturday Night. The project will include the Top 10 single “Last Night Lonely” in addition to fourteen new songs that consist of loss, love, and everything in between.
