It’s safe to assume Jon Pardi isn’t dealing with any heartache this week as his latest single, “Heartache Medication,” reached the top spot on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase Airplay charts, marking his fourth chart-topping single. Additionally, the already Gold-certified hit has amassed a whopping 138 million on-demand streams.

“Heartache Medication” is the title track off Pardi’s latest album, which garnered massive critical acclaim upon its September 2019 release. The album was praised for its traditional country sound and found critics and fans applauding the California native for once again keeping it country. It’s something Pardi says comes naturally to him as he has built his career on songs that lean a little more traditional.

“I think me just sticking to what I do led the way for this record to be accepted more, and be allowed on country radio,” he previously shared with Country Now. “I think that the last record really opened the gates, too, for me to be like, ‘Hey, here’s a song with a fiddle intro.’”

Pardi is currently featured on Thomas Rhett’s Top 25 (and climbing) single, “Beer Can’t Fix.” He has a packed tour schedule planned for 2020, which includes stops at some of country music’s most popular festivals, including Tortuga Music Festival, the iHeartCountry Festival and Faster Horses Festival.

Fans can visit Pardi’s official website for additional tour dates.
