Country star Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn attended the 2022 CMT Artists of the Year celebration at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Oct. 12. Not only were they there to support Brown as a nominee and performer, but it also happened to land on the night of their 4th anniversary.

The couple each took to social media to showcase photos of the night while also expressing their love for one another. Katelyn turned heads with her stunning sheer black dress while Brown sported an army green jacket, black pants and stylish black boots that featured a hint of red peeking out from the bottom.

“Happy Anniversary, I love you more and more every day ❤️” she wrote in her caption while the hubby said, “Happy anniversary and Thank God I found you ❤️ the best mama to our girls and wifey I could ask for 😘”

The 2022 CMT Artists Of The Year ceremony will premiere on Friday, October 14 at 9/8c via CMT.

About a month ago, the adoration they have for each other shined in their first duet, “Thank God,” and as of Sept. 12, it serves as Brown’s newest radio single. Co-written by Josh Hoge, Jaxson Free, Kyle Fishman, Christian Davis, and Jared Mullins, this romantic ballad finds Kane and Katelyn professing their love for one another and admitting that they “Thank God” every single day for bringing them together.

The tune that has fans feeling the love appears on Brown’s just-released third studio album, Different Man. The project features 17 tracks, including the chart-topping hits “Like I Love Country Music” and “One Mississippi.”

“So, thank God/ I get to wake up by your side and thank God/ Your hand fits perfectly in mine and thank God/ You loved me when you didn’t have to/ But you did and you do and He knew/ Thank God for giving me you/ Oh, yeah, thank God/ Thank God for giving me you,” they sing on the chorus.

Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown recently jetted off to Hawaii to film the music video for their duet. They were captured driving through the scenic routes and enjoying each other’s company near a gorgeous mountainside.

While Katelyn’s vocal chops may come as a surprise to some fans, she is no stranger to making music. In fact, when Katelyn first met Kane, she was pursuing a career as a solo R&B/Pop singer. Music is what brought them together in the first place as Kane was cast to be in Katelyn’s music video, but couldn’t fulfill the appearance due to a show.

In a 2020 interview with RADIO.com’s Kelly Ford, Kane shared the story about his first time meeting Katelyn.

“We met down in Florida at my very first show ever, I believe it was in 2015. The day before that show, I was supposed to be in her music video because she was an artist as well, and it couldn’t happen cause my show was the same day as the music video,” he recalled.

“So a year goes by and the same guy we were working with brings her to a show, she didn’t want to come and he forced her basically. We met, we didn’t talk at all, I maybe said hey to her but I thought she was adorable and I kept looking at her all night. So I asked her to come to Nashville like the next day, I flew her down and we just hit it off and she never left.”

Things became official in early 2017 when Kane Brown proudly took to social media to publicly profess his love and appreciation for his then-girlfriend, Katelyn.

“I know a lot has been going good for me this past year, but being away from my family and friends it’s been tough,” he wrote. “Luckily I found my other half. I know a lot of people might get mad I’m in a relationship but if you’re a true fan u won’t. She keeps me Sane, she keeps me happy she’s my girl. God Bless.”

A few months later, Brown took their relationship to the next level when he proposed. He had a whole plan in place, complete with rose petals and all, but the night before the big day, he decided he couldn’t wait another second. While watching The Amityville Horror, Brown casually popped the question.

She said “yes” and they officially tied the knot at Mint Springs Farm in Nolensville, Tennessee on October 12, 2018.

“We wanted something here in Nashville and loved the idea of having it at home and not traveling since we are on the road so much,” the pair shared with People. “It’s not too rural but has so many elements of nature — a huge lake, rolling hills, trees. It’s just beautiful out there.”

Together, the couple now shares their daughter Kingsley Rose and the newest addition to their family, Kodi Jane.

Kane Brown’s next performance will take place on Oct. 28 in Cincinnati, OH. Beginning Dec. 1, he’ll be jetting off again for the next leg of his Drunk Or Dreaming Tour, which will take him across Canada, UK and Europe. Special guests Chris Lane, Restless Road, Blanco Brown and Jessie James Decker are slated to join him on select dates.
