Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina joined forces virtually to perform their No. 1 single “What Ifs” on Friday (July 3) during the 1-hour iHeartCountry 4th Of July BBQ Special presented by Lowes.

“What Ifs” was co-written by Brown, alongside Matt McGinn and Jordan Schmidt. The song is the third single off Brown’s self-titled debut LP for RCA Records Nashville, which was released in December 2016 and quickly topped the country charts.

The 5x Platinum hit also features his childhood friend, Alaina, who met Brown in Choir class in the seventh grade while living in a small town in Georgia.

The iHeartCountry 4th Of July BBQ presented by Lowes Home Improvement, took place on Friday (July 3) at 8/7c on The CW Network, as well as on iHeartCountry stations nationwide. The special will replay throughout the 4th of July weekend on CWTV.com and on iHeartCountry stations across the country. Performances during the virtual event included Kane Brown, Lauren Alaina and Old Dominion, hosted by iHeartMedia radio personality, Bobby Bones.

Executive producers for iHeartCountry 4th of July BBQ are John Sykes and Tom Poleman for iHeartMedia and Joel Gallen for Tenth Planet Productions.
