Kane Brown debuted a collection of remixes to his Top 40 pop single “Be Like That” on Friday (Sept. 25).
The country superstar dropped the surprise remix collection of the track on streaming services. The remixes are a mixture of sped up versions of the song as well as R&B and dance-vibes that make you want to dance around no matter where you are at.
“Be Like That” was co-written by Kane Brown alongside Khalif Brown, Alexander “Eskeerdo” Izquierdo, Khalid Robinson, Ryan Vojtesak and Mike Will and was produced by Charlie Handsome. The release of the song Marked Brown’s biggest first-week at Top 40 radio and was added to 103 stations in its first week.
“When I first heard ‘Be Like That’ I fell in love with it. It’s one of those songs that just hits you and knew I couldn’t release it how it was, so I started messing with it a little bit, and then we decided to bring Khalid and Swae Lee on,” Brown recently shared. “It took a while for us to get Khalid because he was always traveling to Japan and he was in another country another day, and we literally got him the day we were supposed to release the song, I think that we got him the day before that he jumped on it, so it was a blessing, it’s doing really well for us right now.”
Brown first debuted the song during his headlining Worldwide Beautiful Tour. During the opening night of the North American leg of the tour, Brown told fans “Be Like That” would be his next single sent to pop radio.
The song is one of seven tracks on Brown’s just-released EP, Mixtape Vol. 1. The new release also includes Brown’s “Cool Again,” and the fan-favorite track, “BFE.”
