Kane Brown stopped by NBC’s The Voice on Monday (Dec. 2) for a special performance of his latest single, “Homesick.”
The performance featured a new rendition of the hit song. Dubbed “Homesick (First Dance Version)” the new arrangement is more stripped down than the original. Brown took the stage accompanied by a guitarist, a piano player and several violinists, and as fog rose from the floor around him, the proud new father delivered a beautiful performance of the song.
“If home is where the heart is/ I’m homesick for you,” he emotionally sang.
“Homesick” was written by Brown alongside Brock Berryhill, Matthew McGinn and Taylor Phillips. It’s the latest single from Brown’s Experiment album.
