2020 is off to an incredible start for Kane Brown. Not only did the superstar just launch his first international headlining tour with a sold-out show in Dublin, Ireland, but he also got the news that his chart-topping singles, “What Ifs” and Heaven,” were certified 5X platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
With his new certifications, Brown becomes one of only five artists with multiple 5X Platinum RIAA Country Single Certifications, joining the likes of Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Sam Hunt.
Brown teased the news late last week when he took to social media to thank his fans for their longtime support.
“Today I found out that ‘Heaven’ and ‘What Ifs’ are 5 times platinum,” the reigning AMA Favorite Male Country Artist shared on Twitter.
He then expressed a heartfelt message to his dedicated fans writing, “Never in a million years would I have ever thought that would happen! I love you guys to death.”
Kane Brown’s Worldwide Beautiful Tour continues later this week with stops in London (2/4), Amsterdam (2/5), Paris (2/6) and Berlin (2/8). The “Homesick” singer will then return to the U.S. for the North American leg of the tour, which kicks off February 29 in Atlantic City.
Fans can visit Brown’s official website for ticket information.
