Kane Brown returns to the top of the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase airplay charts this week with his latest single, “Homesick.”

The heartfelt tune is Brown’s fifth consecutive chart-topper, following the smash hits “Good As You,” “Lose It,” “What Ifs” (featuring Lauren Alaina) and “Heaven.”

“Homesick” is an extremely personal song to the superstar and it took on a whole new meaning after he welcomed his first child, Kingsley, with his wife Katelyn last fall.

“‘Homesick’ is kind of personal, just ‘cause I’ve done so many shows in the last couple years and I’m never home,” Brown previously shared of the song he co-wrote with Brock Berryhill, Matthew McGinn and Taylor Phillips. “I miss my dogs, I miss my family and my friends…I had it tattooed on me already, so it kind of made sense. We just starting writing and it was just so real and so personal.”

Kane Brown is currently in the midst of his headlining Worldwide Beautiful Tour. The tour is Brown’s biggest and best yet and showcases his growth as an artist and live performer.
