Kane Brown’s two daughters, Kingsley Rose, 4, and Kodi Jane, 2, were recently captured showing off their musical talents as a “sister duo” through an at-home performance that further proved the possibility of the young girls following in their parents’ footsteps one day.
The country star’s wife, Katelyn Brown, filmed the adorable moment between the two girls as they took advantage of the acoustics of their in-home basketball court. The video posted to social media on Monday (Jan. 1) showed Kingsley Rose and Kodi Jane standing on their makeshift, multi-tiered stage while singing along to the upbeat lyrics of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”
Donning their brightly colored dresses, Kingsley took the lead on the chorus as she stood proudly on the highest level of the “stage” that was made out of tumbling mats and equipment. Meanwhile, her younger sister shined through her dance moves and occasional backup vocals.
Many fans gushed over the heartfelt interaction, but the rising sibling duo, Tigirlily Gold, felt especially touched by the sisterly moment as it likely reminded them of their upbringing that has led to them pursuing a successful career together.
They wrote, “Nothing better than singing with your sister❤️❤️ so sweet.”
Baby No. 3 On The Way
Last week on Christmas morning, Kane and Katelyn Brown announced that it would be their last time celebrating the holiday as a family of four because a new addition is on the way. The couple revealed the news of Katelyn’s pregnancy with an adorable family photo that features Kingsley with a bright smile on her face while holding up an ultrasound photo of the new baby.
Despite making this milestone public, the couple has yet to reveal the gender or due date of their third child.
Kane and Katelyn tied the knot on October 12, 2018, in a beautiful ceremony of love held at Mint Springs Farm in Nolensville, Tennessee. Following their wedding, they expanded their family with the addition of Kingsley Rose who arrived on October 29, 2019, and Kodi Jane who they welcomed into the world on December 30, 2021.
Checking Off Career Milestones
The Chattanooga, TN native wrapped up 2023 on a high note, not only personally but also professionally. On Thursday, December 7, his multi-week breakout hit single, “Heaven” was awarded the prestigious Diamond certification by the Recording Industry Association of America® (RIAA), meaning it has sold over 10 million certified units in the United States. This makes the honest track one of just eight songs in Country music history to achieve the massive feat. Additionally, Brown has earned the high honor of being the first black artist in Country music to earn the certification with an original song.
With his recent diamond certification, Brown now joins a select group of Country stars who have also earned this rare honor, including Chris Stapleton (“Tennessee Whiskey”), Sam Hunt (“Body Like A Back Road”), Luke Combs (“Beautiful Crazy”), Darius Rucker (“Wagon Wheel”), Lady A (“Need You Now”) and Florida Georgia Line (“Cruise”).
“Heaven” appears on the deluxe edition of Brown’s 3x Platinum self-titled debut album, Kane Brown, and adds to his collection of 23 RIAA certifications to date, including 8X Platinum “What If’s,” 4x Platinum “Be Like That” and “One Thing Right,” 3x Platinum “Good As You,” “Homesick” and “Lose It;” 2x Platinum “Thank God” and Platinum “Like I Love Country Music.”
