Kelsea Ballerini and Kenny Chesney gave the live debut of their “Half Of My Hometown” duet during the 2021 ACM Awards and their performance was absolutely incredible.
On Sunday, April 18, the country superstars joined forces on the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage for a truly one-of-a-kind performance that allowed the song’s story to be put on full display.
“This song is really special. It all happened with a lot of ease – from us writing it to Kenny signing on,” Ballerini said prior to their performance. “The performance is really about the song. I love bells and whistles – I’ve come down from a floating heart at the ACMs before – this is opposite of that. It’s really about Kenny and I telling a story about the relationship of our hometown.”
