Kelsea Ballerini had to cut her Buffalo, NY concert short and rescheduled it—along with two more dates—due to illness.
Despite feeling unwell, she pushed through her Detroit show earlier in the week and was optimistic about performing in Buffalo after a day of rest. Determined not to disappoint fans, she started the show but soon realized she couldn’t continue.

After a few songs, the East Tennessee native’s tour manager appeared on stage to deliver the disappointing news to fans.
“This is the conversation I did not want to have tonight. She just can’t finish. She’s too sick. We’ve given everything, we’ve tried to do it, unfortunately we cannot finish the show tonight,” he shared, later telling fans to check their emails for rescheduled show info.

“Buffalo, I am so so sorry that I could not finish the show tonight,” she said. “I am sicker than I am trying to be and I did not want to let anyone down tonight.”

“So we are rescheduling tonight, Buffalo, tomorrow, Pittsburgh and the next day, Toronto, to the end of the tour, April 11th, 12th and 13th,” Ballerini added. “I will make them the best shows I’ve ever played in my whole life.”

She vowed to “pull out every stop” for the rescheduled shows and told her followers, “I will make it so worth it.”
“I’m gonna’ go rest now and get better so I can really show up for the rest of this tour,” she assured before thanking everyone for understanding.
A little while later, she shared a photo of herself hugging a pillow with her beloved dog’s photo on it with the caption, “Also to the sweet fan who made this pillow tonight, I can’t even tell you how much I needed this and what it means.
