Fans can always count on Kelsea Ballerini to keep it real.
After attending The 54th Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday (Nov.11), the superstar revealed that she suffered a mishap while drinking wine during the show and that it all went down in front of Miranda Lambert.
“People often ask for my most embarrassing story, and I have a new one,” she shared on social media. “While sipping some wine last night after the CMAs, somehow the glass shattered IN MY MOUTH, cutting my lip, all in front of Miranda Lambert.”

The Tennessee native closed her post by poking fun at this crazy year, writing, “2020 keeping me humble y’all.”
Ballerini was on hand at the CMA Awards to perform her current single, “Hole In The Bottle.” Immediately following her performance, which closed with a nod to global icon Shania Twain, Ballerini announced that she’s teamed up with Twain to release a new version of “Hole In The Bottle.”
