It turns out that Kelsea Ballerini “wasn’t done unpacking” her emotional journey of autobiographical songs centered around her love life, friendships and healing that appear on her 2024 PATTERNS album. With even more to explore, the country star has announced that a deluxe edition of the project will be dropping Friday March 7, 2025 via Black River Entertainment.

Fans were the first to know as Ballerini shared the news during her show in Fort Worth, Texas on Feb. 26 as part of her current headlining run. In her latest Instagram video, the female superstar is seen closing out her show as usual with the powerful sing-along track, “Penthouse,” but instead of wrapping up there, the lights come back up to reveal Ballerini still standing at the mic. She proceeds to let her fans in on the secret she’s been keeping.

“So this is normally where the night would end, but I feel like it’s a good time to tell you that the PATTERNS (DELUXE) comes out March 7,” she announced to an arena of screaming fans. “There are five new songs on it that we have been working on over the holidays and on this tour backstage. One of them is “To The Men That Love Women After Heartbreak” that I played for your earlier, but my favorite is the one we’re gonna play for you right now.”

As the five-time GRAMMY® Award nominee stated, the deluxe version welcomes five new songs, making for a total of 20 tracks on the project. Fans will finally get their hands on the previously issued digital bonus track, “To The Men That Love Women After Heartbreak,” as well as “Put It To Bed,” “Cut Me Up,” “Hindsight Is Happiness” and “Future Tripping,” which she debuted live on stage last night.

It’s clear as to why this clever, toe-tapping track is one of Ballerini’s self-declared favorites. With a powerful beat, the tune delves into the uneasiness surrounding the uncertainty of the future and her desire to know what’s a head.

“I don’t want to impose / Some things we’re not supposed to know yet / But my head won’t stop,” Ballerini sings.

The original version of the autobiographical album was co-written entirely with female songwriters, debuted at No. 4 on Billboard‘s Top 200 Albums and became Ballerini’s first to top the Billboard Country Albums chart.

This news adds to the East Tennessee native’s already jam-packed 2025. She’s currently in the midst of her wildly popular KELSEA BALLERINI LIVE ON TOUR 2025 that has been packing out arenas nationwide and has also been acting as a first-time Coach for Season 27 of NBC’s The Voice.
