As fans continue to countdown the days until the release of Kelsea Ballerini’s much-anticipated third studio album, the superstar is revealing more details about the project.
Late Thursday, Ballerini took to Instagram to share the full album track listing, surprising fans with two special guests: pop star Halsey and fellow country superstar Kenny Chesney.
Chesney lends his vocals to the album’s ninth track, “Half of My Hometown.” The inclusion of Chesney is definitely a surprise, but it makes total sense to feature him on a track about hometowns as Ballerini and Chesney both grew up in East Tennessee. In fact, Ballerini’s hometown of Knoxville is less than 30 minutes from Chesney’s native of Luttrell.
The singer/songwriter said that her new album, simply titled Kelsea, is her “favorite body of music yet.” Among the 13 tracks the album’s lead single, “Homecoming Queen,” as well as the previously released tracks “Club” and “LA.”
Kelsea drops March 20 and is available for pre-order now.
