Kenny Chesney recently wrapped the I Go Back Tour with back-to-back nights at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama, and the superstar celebrated the end of the trek with a tropical vacation alongside his tourmate, Kelsea Ballerini.

According to social media posts, the country superstars jetted down to the Caribbean to enjoy some fun in the sun together alongside Ballerini’s boyfriend, Chase Stokes.

Chesney documented their trip with an Instagram post of the pair on a boat.

“Tour mates turned family. Thanks to everyone that gave so much to the #IGOBACKTOUR. Kenny loves Tekelsea,” Chesney captioned the snapshot.

“Tekelsea” appears to be a nickname the “Summertime” singer gave to Ballerini as she recently challenged him to drink a shot of tequila on stage after he convinced her to do her first-ever ice bath.

While enjoying their vacation, Chesney also shared another photo of himself sipping on a beverage while in a hammock.

“Off tour,” Chesney wrote.

He wasn’t the only one who reflected on the tour on social media. Kelsea Ballerini also reminisced on some of her fondest memories with Chesney in a post that featured 10 photos of their time on the road together.

The carousel of images included photos from Ballerini’s time on and off the stage with Chesney, such as enjoying time at the beach, a drink at the bar, and hilarious snapshots from their travels.

“spent the last few months touring with my hero turned brother @kennychesney. My heart is so full from a beautiful collection of new memories. Thank you to everyone who made it so dang special 🤍”

Their trip comes just days after he brought her to tears with a special gift commemorating their chart-topping collaboration, “Half Of My Hometown,” a tune they performed each night on the I Go Back Tour.

“Part of why Kelsea drunk texted me to sing ‘half of my hometown’ was because we went to rival high schools, but basically come from the same place,” Chesney laughs. “When it was time to get something to remember the I Go Back Tour by, what better gift? Hard to believe mine still fits, but it did. So, for one night in Orange Beach, the Gibbs Eagles and Central Bobcats represented for a whole lot of people.”

In addition to performing “Half Of My Hometown,” the pair also shared the stage to sing several other duets, including “Wild Child,” “You And Tequila,” and more.

The I Go Back Tour kicked off in Charlottesville, Virginia, and made its way across the U.S. with stops in State College, PA., Greensboro, NC, Grand Rapids, MI, Grand Forks, ND, Sioux Falls, SD, Jacksonville, FL, Fort Wayne, IN, Lexington, KY, and more. He had the chance to visit arenas that he hasn’t played in several years, which made this trek even more special to the eight-time Entertainer of the Year.

“What a way to start my summer,” he said following the last show.  “Some really great memories were made.”

While the tour may be over, Chesney still has a few festival dates on the books, including appearances at Gulf Coast Jam and Carolina Country Music Fest.
