Rising country singer/songwriter Alana Springsteen shared a beautiful cover of one of Kenny Chesney’s first hits and he responded in the best way.
Springsteen took to social media with an acoustic performance of Chesney’s 1994 release, “The Tin Man.” Sitting in her house, Springsteen delivered a goosebumps-inducing rendition of the heartbreak track as she picked on her guitar while singing the emotional lyrics.
“Songs like ‘The Tin Man’ are the reason I love country music… still one of my favs,” captioned the clip.

Springsteen’s performance even caught the attention of the country superstar himself.
“Well that was really beautiful. You sound great on it,” Chesney commented on Springsteen’s Instagram post.
The rising star was quick to respond to the eight-time Entertainer of Year, writing, “Wow thank you 🙏🏻❤️ that means everything.”
“The Tin Man” is featured on Chesney’s 1994 debut album, In My Wildest Dreams. It was released as his second single in 1994, but later re-recorded and released on his Greatest Hits album in 2001.

Alana Springsteen’s Breakout Success
2021 was a breakout year for the 21-year-old. On top of releasing her EP, History of Breaking Up (Part One), the Virginia Beach native got the invitation to join LANY on select dates of the gg bb xx tour 2021.
Springsteen documented her time on the road with a special YouTube video, showcasing memorable moments from tour life.
“If you’re lucky, you get to experience a handful of moments in life where you kind of have to remind yourself that this is actually the life you get to live and that’s what the last few weeks have been for me,” Springsteen says in the clip, reflecting on her time on tour with LANY.
