Kip Moore is on the hunt for love in the brand new video for his latest single, “She’s Mine.”
The just-released clip finds the Georgia native flirting with a number of potential love interests from all walks of life. Putting his playful side on display, Moore lets loose while crashing a photoshoot and even dances along with a few ladies at the laundromat throughout the PJ Brown-directed video.
“Filming the video for this single is some of the most fun I’ve had shooting a music video in a long time,” Moore shared upon the debut of the video. “We just got to let loose and riff-off of the incredible cast we were working with. I can’t wait for the fans to see it.”
“She’s Mine” is the lead single from Moore’s much-anticipated fourth studio album. He co-wrote the song with Dan Couch and Scott Stepakoff over 10 years ago and it’s finally getting the chance to be heard after Moore re-worked it in the studio. Taking on the sole producer role, the Georgia native finally got the song to a place he felt was right.
“We just missed the mark when we tracked it the first time for Wild Ones,” he explained to Billboard. “It was too slick and didn’t capture the energy like I wanted it to or even the sentiment of the song … I wasn’t willing to put it out with the way that it was.”
“She’s Mine” came to life after a conversation Moore had with his former guitar player, Dave Lapsley. As they toured around the country, Lapsley would joke with Moore about being a single man, telling him that he could end up meeting the love of his life in a place that he least expected it.
“I wrote this song at a time in my life when I realized that my life was flipped upside down and I didn’t know which way was up,” shared Moore. “Every experience from there forward, I felt like everything was going to be a surprise. I didn’t know where I was going to end up, who I was going to meet or who I was going to be with.”
