Lady Antebellum Champagne Night
Lady Antebellum made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to deliver a fun-filled at-home performance of their brand new single “Champagne Night.”
Getting creative with green screens, the trio’s performance showcased the trio on different backgrounds, including a sunny beach, the Nashville skyline and a pool with a giant floating flamingo.
“Champagne Night” is the first single to ever be released to radio from NBC’s hit show, Songland. Written by Lady A’s Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood alongside award-winning songwriter Shane McAnally, aspiring songwriter and rising artist Madeline Merlo, the carefree tune offers a different perspective of a night out on the town and finds the group trading fancy glasses for plastic drinkware and champagne for beer.

“Raisin’ plastic cups to a life of luxury/ C’est la vie on a Friday/ We get dressed up in a blue jean tux/ And we go where we don’t hear the highway/Don’t need doubles and bubbles/To get in all kinds of trouble/ Out in the country/ Don’t need a crystal chandelier/ To have a real good time/ We’re drinkin’ beer on a champagne night/ A champagne night,” the trio sings throughout the chorus.
“Champagne Night” was rushed to country radio due to the overwhelming response the band received from fans follow their appearance on Songland.
