Lady A’s Hillary Scott is officially a mom of four! According to People.com, Hillary and her husband, Chris Tyrrell, welcomed daughter Selah Jean, on Friday, July 25.

Following her birth, the couple told the publication, “We are over the moon to introduce you to Selah Jean! She was born 7/25/25.”

Selah Jean joins big sisters Eisele Kaye, 12, and twins, Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack, 7.

“She has filled our hearts with joy and her sisters are already the BEST helpers,” they added.

Of her unique name, Hillary, 39, and Chris, told People, “Her name means ‘pause and reflect’ and ‘god is gracious,’ and in the few short days she’s been here with us, we can already see that she embodies both of those phrases.”

Hillary announced her pregnancy in mid-February on social media, revealing that her fourth daughter was on the way.

“Chris, Eisele, Emory, Betsy, and I are overjoyed to report that this summer our family will be made complete with the most precious little SISTER joining the family. I’m dusting off that Maternity bin from the storage room ONE more time,” she wrote.

In the message, signed ‘Tyrrell Family of SIX,’ she expressed her gratitude to God and her husband for helping raise their four little girls.

“4 daughters. 🥰 We are thankful that God has entrusted us with a household of little ladies, and I couldn’t be happier that my husband continues his streak as the absolute BEST girl dad, in my opinion,” she wrote. “We have been looking forward to this day and covet your prayers for a continued safe and healthy journey getting her here.”

Throughout her pregnancy, HIllary documented her growing belly on social media, sharing sweet snapshots with her husband and children. In addition to playing a few shows with her Lady A beandmates while pregnant, Hillary also enjoyed a family babymoon in Florida, where they visited six parks in four days, including Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios.

“So many laughs, very few tears, and countless JOY and blessings all around! My Mama’s heart is overflowing—and now we settle in to summer break and awaiting the arrival of sweet little sister,” she wrote reflecting on their family vacation.

Now, Hillary will enjoy time with her newborn daughter until Lady A embarks on their first-ever Christmas tour. The just-announced trek will kick off December 5 and Atlanta, Georgia and run through December 23, with a trio of shows at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium.

The tour is in support of Lady A’s On This Winter’s Night: Volume 2, set to release on Sept. 26. Serving as both a companion and refresh of the original On This Winter’s Night, the new album and tour will feature holiday favorites and brand-new festive originals.
