Laine Hardy is putting his love for his home state of Louisiana on full display in his new song, “Other LA.”
The groovy country tune was inspired by Hardy’s time on American Idol when began feeling homesick while in Los Angeles.
“When all the hustle & bustle of the show was going on, I just missed some of the comforts from home,” Hardy explains. “I love LA and being out there, but sometimes I miss my Other LA. Can’t keep a country guy locked in the city for too long.”
The American Idol champ co-wrote “Other LA” with Andy Sheridan, Erik Dylan, and Dan Isbell. It was produced by Michael Knox.
The song follows the release of Laine Hardy’s first official country radio single, “Tiny Town.” The song highlights everything there is to love about small towns and the people who live in them. The song was written by Michael Tyler Spragg and was also produced by Michael Knox.
