Lainey Wilson is at the top of her game. With 16 ACM Awards, 9 CMA Awards, a Grammy, and a coveted spot as a Grand Ole Opry member, she’s cemented her status as one of country music’s biggest stars. On top of that, she’s in the midst of her largest trek yet, the Whirlwind Tour, and now, she’s teasing even more opportunities to expand her acting career.
Wilson, who made her acting debut as Abby, an aspiring musician, during Season 5 of Yellowstone, says the offers to step in front of the camera just keep coming.
“I’m honestly getting pitched things right and left, which is cool,” the Louisiana native recently told Taste of Country Nights. “Opportunities where I am a musician, opportunities where I’m not, opportunities just to write for shows.”

And it’s not just a handful of projects in the mix, Wilson says the possibilities are wide open and that she is currently “entertaining a lot of things.”
Her options are “kinda endless at this point,” she revealed.
While nothing has been officially confirmed just yet, Wilson is exploring her next big move, which will likely come after she makes her feature film debut in Universal Picture’s adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestseller Reminders of Him.

While her role hasn’t been revealed just yet, it’s confirmed that Wilson will appear alongside Maika Monroe, who leads a cast that also includes Tyriq Withers, Rudy Pankow, Lauren Graham, Nicholas Duvernay, and Bradley Whitford.
Wilson admitted that her role in Reminders of Him is a “step outside of my comfort zone.”
“This was the first opportunity I’ve had where I wasn’t a musician,” Wilson told iHeartCountry. “And so, I had said after I did Yellowstone, I was like, ‘OK, the next thing I do, I’d like to kind of step outside of my comfort zone and try something I’ve never done. So, this gave me an opportunity to do that, and it was fun. It was, you know, I’m not gonna say easy, but it was like a fun challenge. And I’m excited to do more of it, whatever that looks like.”

According to Deadline, the film’s release has been moved up a week and is now scheduled to arrive in theaters across the country on February 6, 2026.
Director Vanessa Caswill shared on Instagram in mid-June that production on the film had officially wrapped.
Fans will have to stay tuned for more details surrounding Reminders of Him, including the highly anticipated trailer.
