Lainey Wilson has been named a co-host for the 58th Annual CMA Awards, joining Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning to lead the show. This will be Bryan’s fourth time hosting, Manning’s third, and Wilson’s exciting debut as a host.

The Country Music Association and ABC announced the news early Monday alongside a hilarious promo clip that features the trio of hosts.

The promo video opens with Bryan and Manning driving down the road in a retro red convertible.

Manning says, “Hey Luke, I am so excited to host the CMA Awards again!”

Showcasing his excitement as they cruise with the top down, Bryan shouts, “Nashville, here we come!”

Bryan then tunes the radio to a country station that happens to be playing Wilson’s latest hit, “Hang Tight Honey.”

“I love this song,” Bryan admits, with Manning quickly agreeing, “Same.” In no time, the two are singing the lyrics together. Moments later, Wilson appears from the backseat, joining in on the song.

Shocked, Bryan and Manning scream before Bryan asks the obvious question, “Lainey, where’d you come from?”

Without skipping a beat, Wilson answers, “Baskin, Louisiana.”

Manning clarifies, “No, I think he means what are you doing in this car, Lainey?”

She then tells them that she’s joining them on the ride to Nashville for the CMA Awards.

“Listen fellas, I ain’t trying to kill your vibe, but I think I could bring something to the CMA awards that you ain’t never had before…like humor, like personality, like style. A little bell, bottom flare.”

The guys agree, sealing the deal. Just before the clip ends, Wilson makes her way to the front seat to join them.

The Country Music Association later confirmed the news in a press release, which included statements from the trio of hosts.

“Hosting the CMA Awards is such an honor and it’s crazy when I realize this is my 4th year back,” Bryan shared. “Peyton and I have really worked to build off each other and now adding Lainey to the mix will just bring another fun element to the night. Celebrating Country Music never gets old to me.”

“I am honored to be back hosting the CMA Awards again this year,” Manning added. “The past two years have been a lot of fun, and I know Lainey is going to bring a special flare. Hopefully she can help me keep Luke in line! Either way, I’m excited for an incredible night of celebration and Country Music.”

“I could not be more excited to host the CMA Awards this year with Luke and Peyton,” Wilson said. “It’s such an incredible honor and something I’ve always dreamed of doing. We’re planning a really great show for y’all, so make sure to watch on November 20!”
