Lauren Alaina Reveals She’s Expecting A Baby Girl In Heartwarming Gender Reveal Video
The ‘American Idol’ alum is due this summer.

Lauren Alaina is going to be a GIRL mom! The country singer and American Idol alum just revealed the gender of her baby in an adorable video posted to social media.
Lauren and her husband, Cam, enlisted their pets for a creative gender reveal, having them paint pink paw prints on a canvas to announce they’re expecting a baby girl.
“Baby Arnold is a…,” Lauren captioned the joint social media post.
Within seconds, congratulatory messages began to pour in on the post, with hundreds of pink hearts and bows flooding the comments section.
The video was set to the sound of Lauren Alaina’s new single, “Those Kind Of Women.”
Surprise Pregnancy Announcement
On January 22, Lauren surprised fans when she revealed her pregnancy in her “Those Kind Of Women” music video. The sentimental clip showcases her growing belly and ends with a slide that reads, “This video is dedicated to my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer of 2025.”
Lauren’s mom, Kristy Suddeth, is right by her side through it all, making for a super sweet memory that the singer/songwriter will certainly cherish forever.
“Those Kind Of Women”
Written by Lainey Wilson, Derek George, Lynn Hutton and Monty Criswell, the song is a dedicated to the women who raised and influenced her throughout her life.
“I was raised by those kind of women/ Rocked to sleep on Dolly and Dylan/ Set ya straight with a fly swatter whippin’/ You can always smell love cookin’ in the kitchen/ Knew how to make a man listen/ Keep a little rainy day coffee can cash hidden/ And whatever kinda/ Hell they were goin’ through/ Jesus was right there with ‘em/ I was raised by those kind of women,” Alaina sings on the chorus.

Kelly Clarkson Show Appearance
Following the exciting pregnancy announcement, Lauren Alaina visited The Kelly Clarkson Show where she opened up about keeping the news under wraps for so long.
“I’m 22 weeks…which is a long time to hide a pregnancy, by the way, I’m very excited for people to know about this,” she shared.
The pair of Idol alums bonded over motherhood and pregnancy. Lauren admitted that he first trimester gave her “unbelievable” fatigue and Clarkson acknowledged the hard work a woman’s body does to create a human.
“Yeah, well you’re creating a central nervous system. You’re creating a lot there,” said Clarkson before Alaina added, “I’m like oh, I made a liver today.”
Lauren Alaina is due this summer.
