Lauren Alaina and her husband, Cam Arnold have been enjoying their first week as newlyweds on the stunning Hawaiian beaches of Maui.
The female country star took to Instagram to share a glimpse into their tropical getaway, through a carousel of photos that includes plenty of fresh island dishes, scenic views and relaxing, sun-filled days by the pool. Alaina previously shared with PEOPLE that they opted to choose a place for their honeymoon that neither of them have ever been to before, making it another one of the many firsts the couple will share together.
She opened the post with a photo of her and Arnold dressed in their best beachy attire as they posed in front of a breathtaking sunset in the distance.
“One week of being MAUI’d to you 🌸,” Alaina wrote in her caption.
According to Arnold’s comment, the couple seems to be enjoying their new chapter together. He joked, “You’re not such a bad wife after all!!”
When Did Lauren Alaina Get Married?
Lauren Alaina and Arnold officially tied the knot on February 4, 2024, at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center. She revealed that many of their friends and family were on site for the celebrations, even their two dogs.
“Our siblings all stood up there with us as we got married. And Cameron’s dad was his best man, which was super sweet,” Alaina told PEOPLE. “It was a very emotional, very heartfelt ceremony.”
The Georgia native turned heads as she walked down the aisle in her Anne Barge gown, which was custom-designed by the brand’s creative director, Shawne Jacobs. The simple yet eye-catching dress featured an elegant lace long-sleeve mock-neck that laid underneath the deep v-neck strapless bodice. The lovely floral texture with hand beading overflowed onto the pleated detachable overskirt to elevate the look. She added a chapel-length veil in hand-beaded Alençon lace to give the true bridal touch.
Arnold’s ensemble of a black bow tie, black slacks and wintery emerald green jacket followed in synch with the wintery color theme.
Celebrity Guests Join In On The Fun
Inside the reception, the couple celebrated alongside 450 of their closest family and friends, which included some of Alaina’s fellow country stars. The star-studded guest list welcomed Jason and Brittany Aldean, HARDY and his wife, Caleigh Ryan, Lindsay Ell, Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay, and Russell Dickerson and his wife, Kailey, to name a few.
“Here’s the funny thing: I wanted a small wedding and Cameron wanted a big wedding. So we compromised — and had a 450-person guest list,” Alaina joked. “I think it’s just a reflection of how fortunate we are — we have a lot of people who love us and we love a lot of people.”
Several of her fellow country star guests shared snippets of all the fun they had from the day to their social media accounts, including Aldean’s wife Brittany.
Her caption read, “We love love🥹 Congratulations @laurenalaina @arnold.cam 💍 💒 What a beautiful night it was!!”
The Couple Reflects On Their New Chapter Together
While reminiscing about the memorable day and the person she now gets to share the rest of her life with, the Georgia native dubbed Arnold her “safe place to call home forever” and expressed excitement for what the future will hold for them.
“I’m excited to have someone to celebrate everything with. To have a definite first call, always,” she told the outlet. “And just a partnership that is so much stronger than any other partnership you have. It’s exciting to know you have someone to celebrate everything with and to share hardships with, to have someone that will walk through life with you, good and bad.”
Arnold also took a moment to reflect on their journey together and promised to always be Alaina’s “No. 1 fan” through whatever may bring amid their next phase of life.
“To me, getting married means the world,” he shared humbly. “I’m excited to watch Lauren’s career flourish, to be her No. 1 fan, and even if everything goes to hell in a hand basket, I still will be.”
Alaina also noted their plans to continue to grow together, and “hopefully” bring kids into their family one day.
Once the couple returns from their honeymoon, Lauren Alaina will be back on the road, starting with a trip the Netherlands, Germany and the UK this March.
