Lauren Alaina has officially become a mother with the birth of her baby girl, Beni Doll. Navigating parenthood while working in the entertainment industry comes with its own unique challenges, but thankfully, Alaina isn’t doing it alone. Along with having her husband Cam Arnold by her side, she also has experienced moms like Brittany Aldean, wife of country superstar Jason Aldean, to look to for guidance.

In a recent episode of Alaina’s YouTube series, “LA Lately,” she had a heart-to-heart with Brittany while discussing all things motherhood, including what it’s like to raise kids on the road.

“I have looked up to Brittany as a mother for so long. In fact, both times I toured with Jason, I think you were pregnant. And here I am. We’ve traded spaces,” Alaina joked.

Balancing Work And Motherhood

When it comes to being a new parent on the road, Brittany Aldean had the flexibility to focus on her kids while her husband, Jason, took the stage each night. Lauren Alaina, however, has the difficult task of stepping into a different dynamic as she learns to balance both parenting and performing.

“Obviously that I’m going to be doing different roles though because I’m mama and Cameron has the ability to stay home if need be ever with her, I guess, obviously if there was ever something going on, a crazy fly date or whatever,” Alaina explained. “I just want to talk about raising babies on the road and if you have any tips.”

Brittany Shares Tips For Having Babies On Board

Brittany recalls having both of her kids, Memphis, 7, and Navy, 6, sleeping in the bunks on the tour bus almost instantly. This allowed them to get well-adjusted with the lifestyle from early on and are now able to travel with ease.

“They don’t know any different now,” she explained. “Their little bunks are their safe space and they love it and they always have. To the point where we had this, we’d zip them in, but before that we would velcro them in because you know how the bus rides so bumpy and so you velcro them in their swaddle so that they don’t roll around and go anywhere. It’s crazy. And then you have your monitor in the corner, and then you have your little camera monitor in your bedroom, and then you just listen…I mean, it’s a long nights.”

When it comes to hearing advice and words of wisdom from Brittany other moms living similar lives, the “Those Kind Of Women” singer revealed she’s been assured that her little one won’t know any different than life on a tour bus. Brittany acknowledged how important it is to get them used to the unique routine and environment from a young age.

“I think it’s important to do that cause that’s your life. So I think you start them early to where they get accustomed to at all. And then it’s not super weird when they do go out for the future years,” she pointed out.

Battling Sleepless Nights

Lauren Alaina went on to say that she’s planning to breastfeed, though she admitted the idea of those sleepless nights has her feeling a little overwhelmed.

“I’m imagining myself getting up 14 times in the night to feed this baby out of that bunk. Well, either way, they feed through the night, or the hope is that they don’t.”

Brittany thought back to her experience saying, “Well, they do and they’re going to need to for a little bit, but babies are different. Both of mine didn’t sleep through the night until at least five or nine months. I mean, you’re tired. I look back on photos and videos and I’m a zombie.”

Despite the lack of sleep, the mother of two noted that the hard days were eventually overshadowed by the incredible love and gratitude she feels for her kids.

“It’s just a blur,” she assured Alaina. “You don’t really remember it much. It’s the best thing in the world, honestly. You get this euphoric high, I swear, of just knowing that your baby, like for us at home, both of them were next to me to bassinets. That’s what we’re doing when they would cry or stir around. It was so exciting, cause you’re so excited to meet the little angel and then all of a sudden, they’re next to you and you get so happy to get up. I mean it’s such a privilege to be a mom.”

Lauren Alaina Welcomes Baby Girl, Beni Doll

Lauren Alaina and her husband announced the news of their daughter’s birth on Friday, June, 13, revealing that Beni entered the world on June 11, 2025 weighing in at 7 lbs 13oz. and measuring 19 inches long. The exciting announcement was shared alongside sweet family photos captured by Laura Moll.

Her message to fans read, “The right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn’t even knew existed were unlocked at 8:44 am when they laid you on my belly for the first time. I will never be the same. You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection,” she wrote. “We are honored God chose us to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all of the love, prayers and support for our precious daughter.”

As Beni continues to grow up, it’s clear that Lauren Alaina will always have Brittany Aldean to turn to for guidance on motherhood and beyond.
