Jordan Davis has delivered another heartbreak anthem to fans, and this time, he’s not holding anything back. With his new single, “Bar None,” the award-winning singer-songwriter pours out a set of raw emotions that proves some memories are harder to drown out than others.
Written by Ben Johnson, Hunter Phelps, and Lydia Vaughn, the new track blends Davis’ Louisiana-bred vocals with an infectious beat that will keep fans singing and dancing all night long and even through the worst kind of heartache.

The easy listening tune finds Davis tackling the emotional rollercoaster of parting ways with what he deems to be “the best thing I ever had,” and feeling the effects of the pain that seems to be harder to shake than ever before. In an attempt to pull himself out of his lowest point, he hunkers down in a bar, only to realize that if moving on were a game, he’d be losing one to nothing.
“Bar none/ Now I’m getting goner than your long gone boots/ Nothing I’m working on works on you/ I’ve been breaking every bottle open/ Doing what a banged up broken heart does/ Gonna need three or four more/ Baby if moving on had a scoreboard/ It’d say you and your memory one/ Me and this bar none,” Davis delivers with his charming vocals as he leads the singalong-ready chorus.
Produced by Paul DiGiovanni and written by Hunter Phelps, Lydia Vaughn, and Ben Johns, “Bar None” follows his latest chart-topping single, “I Ain’t Sayin’,” which recently rose to the No. 1 spot in the US and UK.
Reflecting on his latest No.1 in an Instagram post, Davis wrote, “This never gets old…”I Ain’t Sayin’” is #1…Thank you to country radio for the continued support, thank you to my team for always fighting for my songs, to the fans for loving this one since the day we released it…But this wouldn’t be possible without @stevemoakler @holmanmark@traviswoodsongs @emilyreidmusic for writing this one and allowing me to put it out into the world…Gonna be a hell of a party for this one, thank y’all 👊”
“Bar None” joins the fan-favorite song as well as “Know You Like That,” serving as the second single off the award-winning artist’s highly anticipated next album expected to drop later year. The new album will follow his Platinum-selling album Bluebird Days, which produced four consecutive No. 1 singles including “What My World Spins Around,” “Tucson Too Late,” “Buy Dirt” and “Next Thing You Know.” The project also spawned two “Song of the Year” winning song titles off of one album – “Next Thing You Know” (ACM) and “Buy Dirt” (CMA and NSAI) – the first artist in history to ever do that.
The “Buy Dirt” singer has a big year ahead, not just musically but also personally. In addition to completing his next project and now awaiting its official debut, Davis and his wife are also preparing to welcome their fourth baby.
He announced the news while serving as direct support for Luke Combs in New Zealand and Australia. Even with all this in the works, Jordan Davis has still managed to find the time to make a slew of fair and festival performances throughout the summer.
