Little Big Town kicked off the Grand Ole Opry’s 95th-anniversary celebration with their latest single, “Wine, Beer & Whiskey.”

On Sunday (Feb. 14), the award-winning country group, consisting of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook, performed the feel-good drinking tune live from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

The quartet made their Opry debut in 1999, the same stage where it all began for them as it was that same moment that Little Big Town made their very first public appearance as a band. Then in 2014, following a three-song performance that ended with their hit “Pontoon,” Reba McEntire invited the group to become members of the Grand Ole Opry, which they graciously accepted.

“I know the Grand Ole Opry is very important to y’all, because this is the first place you guys played together as a group in 1999. I have been asked to ask y’all, Little Big Town, would y’all like to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry?” McEntire asked the hitmakers in 2014.

They graciously accepted with a “yes!” before Fairchild added, “Thank you, Grand Ole Opry! We will try to make you proud!”

“Wine, Beer, Whiskey” was co-written by Little Big Town alongside Tofer Brown and Sean McConnell. The song is featured on the quartet’s ninth studio album, Nightfall, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Grand Ole Opry: 95 Years of Country Music also featured performances from Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Kane Brown, Lady A, Little Big Town, Old Crow Medicine Show, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Marty Stuart, Carrie Underwood and Trisha Yearwood.

The show also gave fans a look back at some of the most iconic performances in Opry history and showcased archived Opry interview and performance footage from today’s Opry members and legendary artists.

Additionally, the two-hour special also included star-studded collaborations from Darius Rucker featuring Old Crow Medicine Show, Carrie Underwood with Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley and Marty Stuart, Vince Gill featuring Reba McEntire and more.

Hosted by Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton, Grand Ole Opry: 95 Years of Country Music aired on Sunday, February 14 at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
