GRAMMY, ACM, CMA, and AMA Award-winning group, Little Big Town recently released the official music video for their new single, “Hell Yeah.”
The video, directed by Blair Getz Mezibov, showcases member Phillip Sweet as the heartbroken lead. His friends and bandmembers, Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, and Jimi Westbrook, take him out to have fun. The group goes to a bar and dance hall to have a night of fun and get their friend over his ex.
“We loved working with Blair on this video,” says Karen Fairchild. “Is there anything better than a found place in the middle of nowhere that is actually the coolest club in town? Throw some tequila and dirty dancing in the mix and it’s a party. I love a heartbreak song that can still make you feel good.”
The feel-good ballad was written by Little Big Town’s Sweet and Westbrook along with Tyler Hubbard and Corey Crowder. “Hell Yeah” serves as the first single off the multi-Platinum selling group’s highly anticipated studio album.
Jimi Westbook of Little Big Town previously shared, “Phillip and I wrote this with Tyler Hubbard and Corey Crowder. I remember when Corey brought that hook in that day. He sang his idea and when he turned that phrase at the end of the chorus, we were all like ‘hell yeah!’ We always have a blast writing with those guys.”
After wrapping up The Bandwagon Tour with Miranda Lambert earlier this month, Little Big Town is gearing up to join The Eagles this summer on their European stadium tour. Later in the fall, the group will be joining Wynonna Judd on select dates of The Judds: The Final Tour.
