Luke Bryan is kicking off the holiday cheer a little early,  and he’s bringing Ella Langley along for the ride!

This week, the superstar surprised fans with a brand-new version of “Winter Wonderland,” teaming up with Langley to put their own spin on the beloved classic.

Bryan opens the track with the familiar first verse: “Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? In the lane, snow is glistening / A beautiful sight, we’re happy tonight / Walking in a winter wonderland.”

Langley jumps in on the next verse, singing, “Gone away is the bluebird / Here to stay is a new bird / He sings a love song as we go along / Walking in a winter wonderland.”

The artists continue to trade off verses throughout and harmonize with each other on the chorus.

While the song never directly mentions Christmas, it’s long been a holiday staple thanks to its cozy winter vibes and nostalgic feel.

Originally written in 1934 by composer Felix Bernard and lyricist Richard Bernhard Smith, “Winter Wonderland” has been recorded by countless artists over the decades,  from Ella Fitzgerald and Tony Bennett to Elvis Presley, Ringo Starr, and more.

Bryan and Langley paired the release with a studio video, which was filmed by Evan Harney.

The new duet appears on Bryan’s just-released holiday EP, Luke Bryan Christmas, a three-song project marking the first Christmas EP of his career. While he has released holiday singles before, including “Run Run Rudolph” in 2008 and “O Holy Night” in 2017, this EP is his first cohesive holiday collection.
