Someone shot a red stag on Luke Bryan’s private property and the superstar is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the suspect’s arrest.

Fox 17 reports that a red stag was shot on Bryan‘s Columbia/Mount Pleasant-area property between the evening hours of December 4 and the morning hours of December 5.

According to a quick Google search, a red stag is one of the largest species of deer. It typically inhabits areas such as Europe, Asia Minor, Iran, some areas of western Asia and central Asia.

The Maury County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with information about the shooting of the red stag contact the department at 931-388-5151.
