Fans have come to know and love Luke Bryan’s family just as much as they love the country star himself, thanks to social media. Over the years, Luke’s wife, Caroline, has kept fans entertained with her playful pranks, hilarious antics, larger-than-life personality, and giving heart. Meanwhile, his mom, LeClaire, has built her own fanbase through her Instagram posts, whether she’s sharing throwback photos of Luke as a kid, showing off her fishing adventures, or documenting a shopping trip with a little help from her superstar son’s credit card.
In recent months, however, fans have noticed that LeClaire hasn’t been posting as much, sparking curiosity about how she’s been doing. During a special pre-show event for his fan club members and VIP ticket holders, Luke took a moment to share an update about his mom. He assured the crowd that LeClaire is doing just fine.

“How’s my mother? My mother is… My mother, it’s funny, she’s kind of chilled out on Instagram, so everybody’s checking on her because she’s been less active on Instagram, and I’m very happy about that,” he joked. “My mother is fine. She’s still asking for the same ludicrous amounts of money once a month, so she’s all good.”
After a round of laughter, he quipped, “She’s still chain smoking and chugging Bud Lights.”
LeClaire has been known to pop up at some of Luke Bryan’s concerts and has been a returning guest at his annual Crash My Playa event in Mexico. This year, she made fast friends with Bailey Zimmerman, who was there to perform.
“Having a blast with Bailey at Luke’s Crash my Playa,” she wrote on Instagram, adding, “Love him.”
The “Country Song Came On” singer has often poked fun at his mom’s spending habits, once telling ET Canada that she spends “a lot.” Still, he admitted he doesn’t mind, explaining that he sees it as a way to thank her for everything she’s done for him over the years.

“You know what, I can attempt, but she has a lot of external sources to, you know, get around,” he said. “She knows my business manager’s number, she knows my manager’s number, my booking agent, my wife’s, assistants – she gets credit cards no matter what.”
LeClaire’s purchases usually include “nick-nacks, collectibles, Starbursts, cigarettes,” according to Bryan.
