Luke Bryan helped a couple reveal the gender of their first child during his concert in Oklahoma City over the weekend.
The superstar stopped performing mid-show to acknowledge a fan who had brought a sign that read, “What will it be? Luke Please tell me! Girl or Boy.”
“These damn gender reveals have gotten out of control,” Bryan joked as he reached for the envelope containing the baby’s gender.
As soon-to-be parents, Ashley and Jon Link, looked on, Bryan jokingly asked to see her pregnancy test as he tried to open the envelope to reveal the results.
“I’m just playin’, you guys look like you’ve had sex together,” he laughed.
Advising the couple to “enjoy partying tonight because your life is over,” Bryan finally got the envelope open to find a green sheet of paper.
“Congratulations, you’re having an alien,” he laughed, before revealing the official results.
“First of all, it’s very healthy, and you are having a girl,” he excitedly announced. “Congratulations!”
The crowd erupted with applause.
Link shared a video of the big reveal to Facebook with the caption, “best kept secret.” Check it out above.
Luke Bryan has a number of tour dates scheduled through October 25. Visit his official website for details.
