Surprise- Luke Combs is a married man!

The superstar wed his longtime girlfriend Nicole Hocking on Saturday (Aug. 1) in Florida. The couple’s rep shared that they enjoyed a beautiful ceremony surrounded by with family, despite the threat of Hurricane Isaias off the Florida coast.

The beloved couple shared the news with fans via Instagram along with two photos from their big day.

“Yesterday was the best day of my life,” Combs gushed. “I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever.”

The new Mrs. Combs also shared her excitement over their big day, writing, “Yesterday was the most special day!! I’m so happy to spend the rest of my life with you! Although we wish would could have had every single one of our family & friends there, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next year!”

The newlyweds plan to host a bigger celebration with family and friends in the new year.

Combs and Hocking began dating in 2016 after meeting at the 2016 Key West Songwriter’s Festival. After the festival, the Hocking and Combs started spending more time together and eventually began dating. In 2018, Combs planned an elaborate proposal that ended up going south after a hectic day of moving. Weeks later, Combs and Hocking revealed their engagement with fans via Instagram.
