Current ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee Luke Combs brought his smash hit “Beautiful Crazy” to living rooms around the country on Sunday evening (April 5) during the star-studded ACM Presents: Our Country special on CBS.
“Beautiful Crazy” is featured as a bonus track on the superstar’s debut album, This One’s For You, and was co-written by Combs alongside Wyatt Durrette and Robert Williford. The song is special to Combs for many reasons because he wrote it shortly after meaning his now-fiancée, Nicole Hocking.

“Beautiful Crazy” became a massive hit at country radio, rising to No.1 after just 15 weeks. It remained at the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for a whopping six weeks.
Luke Combs is currently nominated for three Academy of Country Music Awards: Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for What You See Is What You Get. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 55th Annual ACM Awards have been postponed until September 16.
ACM Presents: Our Country aired on Sunday (April 5) at 8:00 p.m. ET on the CBS Television Network and on CBS All Access. The two-hour special also included performances from Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan and many more. The show also showcased clips of artists’ favorite moments the ACM Awards’ 55-year history.

During this time, she hosted 24 weeks of live concerts via Country Now Live on Twitch with special guests such as Lady A, Dierks Bentley, Jordan Davis, Brett Young, and Jon Pardi. Over the course of her career, she has had the privilege of conducting interviews with some of the industry’s most prominent stars, including Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, and many others. Lauren Jo Black is a longtime member of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music.
