Fans hoping to attend one of the dates on Luke Combs’ massive world tour had to be quick with their purchases. After tickets went on sale to the general public, the country star immediately sold out 37 out of the 39 shows.
The trek has already broken multiple records across the world. Combs had the fastest sell-outs ever at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium and St. Louis’ Busch Stadium in addition to the fastest sell-out by a first time Gillette Stadium performer in any genre.
Within hours, the “Forever After All” singer became the first international artist to sell out an Australian and New Zealand tour. This stint of shows also ranks as one of the fastest-selling arena tours ever by a country artist in the UK.
His 39-date world tour, which covers 3 continents and 16 countries, holds 16 North American stadium dates including Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, Kansas City’s GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium and more. The outing will also stop in Australia, New Zealand, U.K., Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, France and Belgium.
Four new shows have already been added in London, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane as a result of the overwhelming demand. In order to accommodate the number of fans hoping to experience Combs’ live set, the Stockholm show had to be relocated to a larger venue.
Riley Green, Lainey Wilson, Flatland Cavalry and Brent Cobb will serve as support on the North American tour date, while special guests on the Australian and New Zealand dates include Cody Johnson and Lane Pittman.
This record-breaking tour is just one of his most recent milestone feats. Combs recently earned his 14th consecutive No. 1 with his latest release, “The Kind Of Love We Make.” This compelling track reached No. 8 on the all-genre Billboard 200.
Perhaps his most memorable moment of the year was welcoming his first child, Tex into the world with his wife, Nicole. Tex Lawrence arrived on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, just one day before his due date, weighing 7lb, 6 oz.
The North Carolina native also recently announced that he will be returning to country radio with his song, “Going, Going, Gone,” which has become a fan-favorite from his album, Growin’ Up.
The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year revealed the news via social media earlier this week.
“Excited to let y’all know ‘Going, Going, Gone’ will be my next single on country radio,” Combs shared alongside a video of him performing the song.
This full-length project debuted at No. 1 upon its release and features the chart-topping hits, “Doin’ This,” “The Kind Of Love We Make,” as well as “Outrunnin’ Your Memory,” a duet with Miranda Lambert, among several others.
Before he makes his way across the globe, Combs has a few more stops on his current headlining Middle Of Somewhere Tour, which features special guests Lainey Wilson, Jordan Davis and Morgan Wade on select dates. The trek kicked off with two sold-out shows on Friday (Sept. 3) and Saturday (Sept. 4) and is set to continue through December of 2022.
