Don’t worry – Maddie & Tae’s Taylor Dye isn’t going to die from a broken heart. That’s because she and singer/songwriter Josh Kerr just got engaged!

The happy couple shared the news with fans via Instagram on Tuesday (Sept. 3) with a series of adorable photos capturing the moment Kerr got down on one knee.

“Can’t wait to love you forever Joshua Peter Kerr ❤️ WE’RE ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!,” the soon to be Mrs. Kerr wrote.

Kerr, who has written songs cut by superstars such as Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett, shared a similar set of photos on Instagram with the caption, “bought the house. got the ring. asked her dad. got the girl. ?? forever started Sept 2nd. I love you @taylordye.”

Dye’s duo partner, Maddie Marlow, was one of the first to congratulate the newly-engaged couple, writing, “WOOOO HOOOO!!!!! Congrats you love birds!!”

The pair began dating over a year ago and often appear on each other’s Instagram feeds. Most recently, they shared snaps of their beachside vacation in Destin, Florida.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

The news of their engagement comes just as Maddie & Tae are gearing up to embark on the fall leg of Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty Tour 360.
