On Saturday, August 13th, up-and-coming artist Madeline Edwards officially made her debut on the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage.
The Billboard Rookie of the Month wowed the audience, bringing them to their feet by the time her set was done.
“I’ll remember this night for the rest of my life. Thank you @opry. I’m honored to have stepped into the circle,” she shared following the memorable night.
Edwards was invited to make her debut back in June, the singer/songwriter/instrumentalist was joined on-stage at her EP release show by Wendy Moten, where she shared with her the good news. To watch the exciting and emotional moment, click below.
Edwards released her first body of music in June of 2022, a five-song self-titled debut EP. She performed two of her hits on the Opry stage – “Why I’m Calling,” a track inspired by the phone calls home to her mother, and her next single, “The Wolves.” To pre-save the song, click here.
With a jazz flair, Edwards has been praised for her ability to blend soul, gospel, and country music into one. Her EP features the critically-acclaimed “Port City,” as well as “Hold My Horses,” “Why I’m Calling,” “Heart You Can’t Break,” and “The Road.”
Currently offering support for Chris Stapleton on his All American Road Show Tour, Edwards will be making appearances at the Road Festival in the UK on August 27th, Moon River Festival in Chattanooga on September 9th-11th, and during Americana Fest on September 15th-18th.
