Country superstar Maren Morris and Irish-born musician, singer and songwriter Hozier joined forces during One World: Together at Home for a performance of “The Bones.”
Morris, making her first major performance since welcoming her son, Hayes Andrew, delivered top-notch vocals from what appeared to be her home in Nashville, while Hozier joined her virtually from Ireland with an acoustic guitar and an accompanying piano player.
After releasing “The Bones” as a single in the fall of 2019, Morris later shared a new version of the hit song featuring Hozier. “The Bones” hit No.1 in February, marking Morris’ fourth chart-topping single.
One World: Together at Home was curated by Lady Gaga and put together in an effort to show unity among people across the world who are affected by COVID-19, as well as celebrate and support the courageous frontline health care workers around the world who are doing incredible, life-saving work. The special aired live on Saturday, April 18 on ABC, NBC, ViacomCBS Networks, and iHeartMedia, as well as Bell Media networks and platforms in Canada.
