Mason Ramsey delivers an outpouring of love with the release of his two new singles, “All The Way To Memphis” and “How Do I Know If I’m In Love?” Both tracks highlight the 17-year-old’s unique sound which features a blend of retro stylings and his youthful tone to create a charming listening experience that captivates fans.

Serving as a writer on each song alongside Dan Fernandez, Ramsey offers a mature look into the intricate journey of falling for someone and the different emotions that come along the way.

“All The Way To Memphis” hones in on the lengths someone is willing to go for someone they truly care about. Through a soulful melody and tender lyrics, Mason Ramsey admits that he is so infatuated with a Tennessee woman that if he couldn’t catch a ride on a plane or a train, he would go as far as to run or even swim miles just to reconnect with her.

“I’d run all the way to Memphis/ Cross the Tennessee line/ With you on my mind, it’s true/ I’d run all the way to Memphis/ Swim the Mississippi/ So you would see that I love you/ I’d run all the way to Memphis/ Just for you,” Ramsey sings on the chorus.

With the accompaniment of a subtle choir of vocals in the background, the song takes listeners back in time and celebrates a time when chivalry was at its peak.

A similar display of heartfelt emotions are conveyed in his second release, which lends a slightly more upbeat tempo and lively display of the Golconda, IL native’s talent. With this song, he begs the question, “How Do I Know If I’m In Love?” and searches for the answer amid bluesy instrumentals that create the ideal backdrop for a date night where the couple is eager to get on the dance floor.

Ramsey sings, “Well, you got my heartbeat beating outta my chest/ The butterflies are flying, ooh, I’m a mess/ Wouldn’t it be sweet if you’re the one for me?/ But how do I know if I’m in love?/ Well, how do I know if I’m in love?/ With you, baby.”

In a few short weeks, the country singer will release even more new music with, “Shake Shake (All Night Long),” a featured track on Twisters: The Album. This project serves as Atlantic Records’ star-studded musical companion to the thrilling new film, Twisters, from Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Amblin Entertainment. Twisters: The Album arrives everywhere Friday, July 19 alongside the highly anticipated movie premiere in theaters.
