Megan Moroney had a full-circle moment at CMA Fest 2025, returning to Nashville’s Nissan Stadium to perform her latest chart-topping hit, “Am I Okay?.” The powerhouse artist took the stage just hours before the fan-favorite tune was officially announced as her second No. 1 at country radio.
Moroney brought the glitz and glamour to Nashville’s Nissan Stadium with her silver fringe ensemble and white cowboy boots while delivering the high-energy set. Her energetic stage presence perfectly matched the tone of her clever and emotionally honest track that captures the confusion of falling for someone good after a string of heartbreaks. With her feelings on full display, Megan Moroney walks the line between excitement and self-doubt as she questions whether things are finally going to work out or if it’s too good to be true.

She sings, “’Cause oh my God, he walked in Like a 6’2″ dream, heaven-sent/ He says what he means and he means what he says/ And he’s funny and he’s smart and he’s good in (Good in)/ Maybe love ain’t always what it was/ Not crying and dying and messing me up/ I think I’m really happy, I think I want to stay/ Oh my God, am I okay?”
The crowd roared as the Georgia native delivered the heartfelt song to a packed-out stadium that united in a massive singalong. The performance marked a major milestone in a week of celebration for the breakout star, who took a moment to reflect on her CMA Fest journey so far while backstage.
“I’m so excited to be back at Nissan,” she gushed. “I got to play the platform stage two years ago, and then I was on the main stage last year, and so happy to be back. I think there’s always going to be a lot of sparkles.”
She added that it was “very exciting” and memorable to get to play “Am I Okay?” one more time on the CMA Fest stage before it officially went No. 1 on the country radio charts.
Moroney first topped the charts with her triple-Platinum debut, “Tennessee Orange” in 2023 and now gets to celebrate her second top charter. “Am I Okay?” serves as the title track to her sophomore album as well as her current headlining tour.

With the accomplishments never slowing down, Moroney shared that in order to stay grounded amid the chaos, she makes an effort to surround herself with family and her core group of friends as much as possible.
“I always have them out on the road with me. They’re here now. My whole family’s in town. I call my mom a lot. My mom keeps me sane and grounded, and then I’ve had the same friends that I’ve had since college and even before that. So it’s just I feel the same me, even though my life is a lot crazier,” she admitted.

While fans await Megan Moroney’s next project, they have the chance to relive her milestone CMA Fest performance of “Am I Okay?” during “CMA Fest presented by SoFi.” The three-hour TV special airs Thursday, June 26 at 8/7c on ABC, and next day on Hulu.
