Friday night was girls’ night out at Country Lakeshake in Chicago where superstar Miranda Lambert headlined an all-female lineup that included her trio, Pistol Annies, as well as Maren Morris, Cassadee Pope, Lindsay Ell and Lauren Alaina.
Always a supporter of females in country music, Lambert, who will headline an all-girl tour this fall, invited the Annies, Morris, Pope, Ell and Alaina to join her on stage to sing U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”
Following the all-star sing-along, many of the ladies took to social media to share their excitement over sharing the stage with each other.
“I reminded myself in this moment to soak it up because of how beautiful it was,” Pope Tweeted along with a photo of the ladies on stage together. “Just 7 women with 7 stories to tell. Thank you @LakeShakeFest & @boccountry for yesterday, and @mirandalambert for sharing the last song of your set with all of us ❤️”
Morris shared a group photo from backstage and simply captioned the snap, “LakeShake = LAKE SHOOK. ??”
